You’re already living your values, and by extension they should already be a part of what you’re doing in your company, even if you haven’t taken the time to write down how your values are impacting your company. There’s power in making conscious decisions around them so you can clarify the expectations with your tribe. This can mean some up-front work on your part to connect the dots.
On a sheet of paper, write down some of the events or activities you do at your company. They don’t have to be in order, just the first activities that come to mind.
Next to each event, write down the value that event or activity embodies next to it and why you think it embodies that value. What are the key reasons you picked that value to be associated with that event?
